Most Louisvillians just want to the protesters to stop and be quiet, but not actually address the root of the problem.
Breonna’s tragic death demands far more than any concept of “police reform,” we need to address the issues that made her, and her boyfriend Kenneth Walker’s lives, disposable. They ended hers and would have been perfectly happy to keep Walker in a cage for decades if the streets didn’t rise.
Why are people like Breonna, and Kenneth not considered part of Louisville’s future? Address THAT, and we’re a step closer to the heart of the matter.
